e-Quiz Resource Directory
Using a variety of interactive Web 2.0 quizzing/testing and learning games tools, the e-Quiz/Game resource directory project is an initiative to design and archive a pool of theme- and skill-based interactive learning objects (quizzes, tests, games, etc.) to assess students’ understanding and application of key language skills. The directory includes both in-house and third-party resources.
The content of these quizzes are drawn from:
- eFlashcard sets of theme-based vocabulary, expressions and grammar rules.
- Online media (e.g. news video clips to design listening/reading activities)
- News podcasts (to design listening comprehension activities)
- News articles
The main features of these quizzes/tests are:
- Engaging
- Interactive
- Motivational
- They provide immediate feedback
