e-Quiz Resource Directory

Using a variety of interactive Web 2.0 quizzing/testing and learning games tools, the e-Quiz/Game resource directory project is an initiative to design and archive a pool of theme- and skill-based interactive learning objects (quizzes, tests,  games, etc.) to assess students’ understanding and application of key language skills. The directory includes both in-house and third-party resources.

The content of these quizzes are drawn from:

  1. eFlashcard sets of theme-based vocabulary, expressions and grammar rules.
  2. Online media (e.g. news video clips to design listening/reading activities)
  3. News podcasts (to design listening comprehension activities)
  4. News articles

The main features of these quizzes/tests are:

  1. Engaging
  2. Interactive
  3. Motivational
  4. They provide immediate feedback
