Arabic Prepositions حروف الجر : Educational Children’s TV Programmes

Introduction
The following two short videos will help you to review the key words related to positions. (e.g. above, under, around, etc…) and adjectives (near and far)
Video 1
Key Vocabulary:
حول (hawla) : around.
فوقَ (fawqa) : above/on top off.
تحت (tahta) : under.
خلالَ (khilala) : through.

Adjectives:
قريب (qareeb) : near
بَعِيد (ba’eed) : far.

- سمكة (samaka): fish.

The great thing about these children’s clips is that the language is very simple so as you learn more vocabulary you find yourself being able to understand more and more, not just the ‘key vocabulary’, I find that very encouraging!

I’d have to agree with those comments. The Sesame Street clip is good for listening to the 2nd person singular in respect of verb forms. If you listening to it a few times it’s incredibly rewarding.

I think the voiceover in the second clip is much simpler, slower, and generally easier to understand, as well as being more comprehensive with regard to prepositions. It is a shame about the poorer sound quality though!
