L’Association Française Des Arabisants (AFDA), association non confessionnelle créée en 1973, a pour vocation d’œuvrer pour le développement des études arabes et orientales en France, de soutenir les enseignants et les chercheurs dans leurs projets et leur vie professionnelle, et d’être l’interlocuteur du ministère de l’Éducation nationale et du ministère de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche pour toutes les questions touchant à la politique éducative et de recherche concernant la discipline. L’A.F.D.A. regroupe des enseignants de tous les degrés, des universitaires, des chercheurs et des doctorants, mais aussi des journalistes et des diplomates intéressés par les questions relatives au monde arabe et par l’étude des langues et cultures arabes.
أسّست الجمعية الفرنسية للمستعربين سنة 1973، وهي جمعية مستقلة تهدف إلى دعم الدراسات العربية والشرقية في فرنسا وإلى نشر اللغة والثقافة العربيتين. كما أنّها تمثل المدرسين والباحثين في ميادين الدراسات العربية لدى وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي وتسهر على مواكبة السياسة التربوية المتعلقة باللغة العربية في فرنسا. تضم الجمعية الفرنسية للمستعربين كل من يعمل في ميدان اللغة العربية من مدرسين وجامعيين وباحثين وطلبة السلك الثالث (المرحلة الثالثة). كما أنها تضم عددا من الصحافيين والدبلوماسيين المختصين في المساءل المتعلقة بالعالم العربي

- The Arabic-K12 Network is part of a project within the National Capital Language Resource Center (NCLRC), a consortium organization of the Georgetown University, the George Washington University , and the Center for Applied Linguistics.
- The mission of the NCLRC is to serve as a resource to improve the teaching and learning of foreign languages. It fulfills this function by providing material resources and professional services that derive from its activities and projects.
