Hi Mourad,
On some of these days of the week - the final vowel is a damma (eg.tuesday) whilst on others it is a kasra (eg. monday). Are these vowels actual case-endings (therefore changing depending upon their usage) or do they remain the same whenever/wherever we write them?
Thanks
David
If the days are indefinite and alone - they will carry a damma at the end
If the are proceeded by the word (day of = Yawm al- ) - they will carry a kasra at the end.
I will need to correct the card of Mon.
thanks - that makes it much clearer.
