The damma/kasra/fatha flashcards are really useful for me especially in terms of improving my pronunciation. The turtle button is great when I’m a little unsure of the vowels. Flashcards are also good reading practice, and that’s a skill I’m working on so this type of extra support is beneficial.
I feel like I’m still a little slow at learning the vocab using this method. When I’m more comfortable with the alphabet the process will be a lot quicker. Ready-prepared electonic flashcards are a such a time-saver too, making my own can be time consuming with my current level of Arabic.
Rachel,
Glad to hear that the eFlashcards are helping you with your pronunciation.
Just take it one step at a time : Alphabet letters > Pronunciation > Vowels > Joining up letters > Reading > Recognition of letters > ….etc
I wonder how I sound to everyone with the turtle slow read ;)!!
