Description of the eLearning Tool/Resource

Goolge Book Search is a tool from Google that searches the full text of books that Google scans and stores in its digital database.

  • There is a variety of Arabic e-books available at Google (view samples below)
  • These books can viewed as:
  1. Limited preview – browsing Contents list and part of the book only
  2. Full view – Complete e-books which are downloadable in PDF format

How to use this tool?

  1. Search the e-book for relevant information
  2. Browse the Contents list
  3. Study Arabic from the sections/chapters available
  4. Browse a particular book you are interested in without having to go to a bookshop as well as before you decide to purchase it.
  5. If a book is our of print, try searching the Google Book Search as you might find there.
  6. If a book is out of copyright, or the publisher has given permission, you’ll be able to see a full preview of the book, and also download the entire a PDF copy of the book.
